Lucky enough to attend Bearsden Academy in the ’70s.

First real job was as a police inspector , for about 4 years, in Hong Kong during the early eighties.  Moved to London 1984 and still live there, in Twickenham .

Did a couple of years as a PC in the Met  then changed career. Ran IT departments in number of companies before changing career again.  My last job was director of security at an investment bank.

Had few years  as a reservist  private in the Parachute Regiment (TA) and then as a probationary  acting sub-lieutenenat in the Royal Naval  Reserve. Obiously I liked free uniforms.

Now retired, long divorced with two grown up daughters.

My passion is music. Play keyboards and guitar in a “Yacht Rock” band, albeit on hold due to Covid.
