Once Upon a Time in The ’70s now has over three hundred an thirty posts, reflecting on our years of growing up through that decade. We have tried to categorize these memories and make them accessible through the ‘Search Category’ drop-down box in the left hand margin.

However, with almost half the posts now centred around Music, we felt a great many of these were being ‘lost’ in the huge list.

Consequently, a new Menu / Index has been created with links to all the Music posts. A brief description of the post also appears where this is perhaps not so obvious from the article title.

The new Page can be accessed from the top menu, and will be updated as and when new posts are made. Hopefully this will ease navigation to these pieces and offer up a chance to easily revisit / catch up on ones that you maybe missed first time around.

We guarantee there’s a few posts to interest everyone!

Once Upon a Time in The ’70s continues to grow!

Thanks to all our readers and contributors, the blog started just over two years ago with the sole intention of sharing memories from the late 1960s and 1970s now has over 80,000 hits from 44,000 visitors.

Regular readers, in the main, come from UK and USA, with Germany next, followed by Australia. This year, to date, visitors to the site have been recorded from 102 of the world’s 195 countries!

There has also been one visit detailed as having come from an ‘Unknown Region.’ Perhaps we’re even being monitored by some sentient being from the far reaches of space?

Ok – maybe not. And we appreciate many of the ‘once only’ hits have come by accident … perhaps from a tired and frazzled parent in Tuvalu looking for a bedtime story to help settle their two year old kid to sleep.

Our Private Facebook page is now just four short of five hundred members and the Pinterest page has also proved popular.

All this has been done organically – no advertising. Just simple hard work from all contributors and thanks to our readers, by word of mouth / invitation.
